Mr. Miller has been involved in the solar industry since 2008.  In 2007 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and moved to Denver, Colorado in search of a career in Renewable Energy.  He also holds an Associate in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron in Ohio.  Mr. Miller started out in the residential/light commercial sector of the Solar Industry in sales and design of Solar Electric and Solar Thermal systems.  He received NABCEP Certification for PV Installers in 2009 and currently holds this certification.  In 2010 Mr. Miller moved in to the EPC sector as a Project Manager and installed 5MW of PV systems at sixty sites in 2011.  In 2012 he moved in to Operations & Maintenance and Quality Assurance & Quality Control and monitored the installation and operation of 10MW of PV systems spread across 100 sites in the Rocky Mountain region; including those that he installed in 2011.  In 2013, Mr. Miller moved back in to the residential sector and managed all engineering, technical and Quality Assurance & Quality Control aspects of a residential finance program including training, plan review, plan approval, procurement and project support.

Mr. Miller joined NEP in 2014 as a Project Manager and ran the instillation of 2.8MW of projects at four sites in Colorado and Kansas. As the Pre-Award Manager for NEP Mr. Miller is responsible for all bids, cost estimating, scheduling, site diligence and other work completed prior to the construction phase. 

Mr. Miller currently resides in Denver, runs a small property management company, a solar consulting company and enjoys skiing, mountain biking and all of the other benefits Colorado has to offer.
